Why is this coffee special?
Sierra Nevada rises from sea level to 5,730 metres (18,800 ft), making it one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Tropical rainforests and unique ecosystems thrive here, and Indigenous groups such as the Kogi and Arhuaco regard the mountain as sacred. From this landscape comes The Uplift’s bold yet balanced cup.
We source from ANEI, founded in 1995 by Aurora Izquierdo, an Arhuaco woman whose mission was to unite local farmers and Indigenous communities through eco-sustainable projects. ANEI produces organic coffee in harmony with nature. We then roast the selected coffee beans to keep sweetness front and centre while rounding bitterness, so you get a confident, satisfying brew that also shines with milk.
