First, farms on Mount Kilimanjaro sit between 1,200 and 2,000 metres, where cool nights, rich soils and inter-cropped banana trees help cherries mature slowly. Then, regional blends from Mbeya and Ruvuma add depth and consistency; many smallholders deliver daily picks to local washing stations for sorting and drying. As a result, the cup remains refined yet characterful.
You’ll taste a sweet-tart blackberry note up front, port-wine body through the mid-palate and a subtle cocoa finish. Peaberries may be small, but they often bring a slightly syrupy feel and concentrated flavour. We roast these Tanzanian coffee beans to keep fruit and structure in balance, so the coffee stays lively as espresso and equally satisfying as French press or pour-over.
